This Saturday, October 2, the Villa de Mora International Karate Championship was held, one of the benchmark events in this sport that take place in Spain.
The championship hosted all categories and modalities of karate. Precisely, in children’s male kata and kumite, respectively, where the students of the Municipal Karate School won 7 medals.
In this way, the students of the Municipal Karate School-SP were classified as follows:
– Alba Durán Pavón, third classified, Benjamín Feminine category, Katas modality.
– Daniela Bermejo Fermín, second classified, Female Alevín category, Katas modality and third classified, Female Alevín category – 32kg, kumite modality.
– Eva Durán Pavón, second Women’s Youth category – 47kg, kumite modality.
– Elena Sanz Romero, second classified, Junior Women category, Katas modality.
– Ismael Muñoz De la Flor, third placed, Junior Men category, Katas modality and third Senior category, Katas modality.
Special mention to Natalia Saucedo, her first Championship outside of Extremadura, and she was great. Borja Muñoz, Ana Carretero, Candela Peña and Lourdes Sanandrés also deserve mention for their efforts.
