The karate fighter Elena Sanz Romero has competed together with the Extremaduran national team, this time obtaining Bronze in the team Katas category.
This weekend the Spanish LIV Senior X para-karate championship was held in the city of Ourense. It took place between Friday the 20th and will end on Sunday, January 22nd. It will become the 54th edition of the event.
The Karateka student of the Karate School-SP Herrera del Duque has participated together with the Extremaduran team this time in the team Katas modality competing on tatami 2.
Since she was 6 years old, Elena Sanz Romero has been part of the municipality’s SP Karate. This student, along with two children, were the first students at the school. Since then, it has been twelve years since karate has been preparing with great dedication. Yesterday she won the Bronze coinciding with her 18th birthday.
It has been a great achievement for her, she has the designation of a high-performance athlete and last year she obtained the qualification as a karate instructor.
