Last Sunday, November 3, the second round of the National Karate League took place in Ávila, where, as we announced from this medium, five karatekas belonging to SP Herrera participated (Candela Peña García, Ana Carretero Gutiérrez, Edurne Martínez Barco, Lourdes Sanandrés Muñoz and Eva Durán Pavón).
The result of the two rounds, the one held at the beginning of the year and the one last weekend, has meant that both Lourdes Sanandrés and Candela Peña advance to the final of the National Children’s Karate League, since to advance to the final The first eight karate fighters in each category classify.
Lourdes Sanandrés Muñoz has qualified in the female children’s category in the Katas modality, and Candela Peña has qualified as a female juvenile in the Kumite -26 Kg modality.
The karateka members of SP Herrera, Eva Durán Pavón and Ana Carretero Gutierrez, have been left behind in the classification, remaining in 10th and 12th place respectively, taking into account that they pass the first eight, demonstrating in this way, although have not qualified for the final, the preparation and perseverance of these athletes, who if they continue like this will soon give us a lot of joy in sports.
