Daniela Bermejo Fermín receives the award in the Gold category of the Somos Deportes program from the Badajoz Provincial Council, recognizing her sporting and academic career.
The Karateca Herrereña, at nine years of age, has been awarded in the “Talent” section, where she stands out for being Grand Winner of the 2021 national league, champion of Spain, in the 32 kilo kumite modality in 2022, and In the same championship he obtained the bronze medal in the kata modality, a sporting talent that is added to his curricular record and his achievement of high grades during the School Year.
Daniela, who has dedicated herself to this sport since she was very young, trains two days a week at the SP Karate school in Herrera del Duque and once travels to Madrid, where she trains in teams with the “Kumo Sport” club.
The presentation of the III Contigo Provincial Council Awards and the I DUEX Awards was held at the San Francisco Cultural Center of the Provincial Council of Cáceres and was presented by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports, Nuria Flores Redondo.
