A splendid autumn afternoon welcomed us today at the Saturnino Romero Chacón municipal stadium on the 2nd league matchday (1st for the local team) before the visit of Sporting Malpartida. SP Herrera began to dominate in the early stages of the game and theirs were the first scoring chances of the game and only bad fortune prevented them from materializing.
As a result of that dominance, the first goal soon arrived, the work of Alex Alcázar in a personal play by Adri Muñoz on the left wing that he put at will to push into the net.
SP Herrera continued trying on both sides and playing with transitions through the center of the rival defense but Isidro, who tried until the end, had no luck in front of goal. So we went to half-time with the score 1-0 for the local team.
The second half began with the first change of the game in the home team, with Isidro staying in the dugout and bringing on Hendrick, a decisive player who ultimately scored a hat-trick, causing the stands to go into delirium.
Flurry of goals from SP Herrera.
As we said, the local team began to string together plays on the board to the delight of the fans and the goals began to arrive, each better, to sign an historic victory.
It was 2-0 by Hendrick after a play by Adri that the latter only had to push into the net.
Immediately afterwards, and as soon as Sporting Malpartida took center action, Jilmar stole the ball in the center of the field and he alone, leaving behind several opponents from the front of the area, scored a spectacular goal, making it 3-0.
But if we thought we had seen everything at the municipal hall this afternoon, the best was missing. Hendrick picks up a ball at the height of the central circle and on the run, leaving behind all the opponents he found in his path, he hits the rival goalkeeper with a cross shot, helpless in the face of the action, raising the score to 4-0.
Sporting Malpartida surrendered, and SP Herrera with one less player due to the expulsion of captain “Nono”, they continued looking to increase the score. Javi Agudelo breaks away from the visiting defense inside the area and gives Hendrick a ball, which he, passively, and after feinting at the defenders, hits at will, making the score 5-0.
The game was dying and we still had the chance to see the last goal, after a personal play by Hendrick who was knocked down inside the area and the coach did not hesitate to award a penalty. The veteran player “Patata” throws it and turns it into a goal, closing the afternoon’s win with a more than deserved 6-0 for his team and the local parish.
A very good team that presented itself today to the local fans in all its lines, and where everyone deserves a 10 in terms of dedication, order and know-how, but it is worth highlighting the work of Duván in defense, Jilmar and Adri Martínez in the center and Hendrick up front.
